Stephanie DeLozier is the owner of Salon Avanti and a stylist with 18 years of experience in the beauty industry. Her journey began at Salon Avanti in 2007 as an assistant, where she had the opportunity to learn from respected mentors Kim Witwer and Krista Moody. What started as a salon job quickly grew into a passion and a career built on education, relationships, and a deep love for helping people feel their best.
Her vision began in her childhood bedroom with her family members “scheduling appointments”. Over the years, Stephanie combined those early dreams and lessons with continued education, hands-on experience, and her own attention to detail to develop a style that is both polished and personal as a salon owner and a stylist. Through the support of her husband, parents, siblings, mentors, lifelong friendships, and a vision for the future, she eventually fulfilled her dream of salon ownership, guiding Salon Avanti through each chapter while preserving the welcoming culture and strong relationships that have always been at the heart of the salon.
Stephanie is known for blonding, lived-in color, men’s cuts, women’s cuts, kids’ cuts, extensions, and Brazilian Blowouts/Keratin treatments. She is certified in Keratin Complex Hair Color, Keratin Complex Keratin Treatments, Brazilian Blowout Services, Babe Hair Extensions, Perfectress Hair Extensions, and Rici curly haircutting, along with advanced education in men’s cutting and various product lines. She loves a challenge, whether it’s helping a client try something new, learning a technique outside her comfort zone, or finding the perfect solution for someone’s hair goals.
What makes Stephanie's work special is the care she puts into both the service and the relationships behind it. Her clients know her for her attention to detail, compassion, fun conversations, and the genuine connections she builds over time. For Stephanie, some of the most meaningful moments come from watching clients' families grow up in her chair and seeing those relationships continue year after year.
Beyond her clients, Stephanie is passionate about the team she has built at Salon Avanti. She considers her stylists an extension of her family and believes the salon's success comes from collaboration, support, and a shared commitment to one another. Creating an environment where both clients and team members feel valued, encouraged, and cared for is one of her greatest accomplishments. She believes that when people work together with trust, respect, and genuine support, it makes every day a joy to come to work.
Outside of the salon, Stephanie’s heart is with her family. She loves spending time with her husband, three step kids, their senior pup Lola, her nieces and nephews, siblings, and parents. She enjoys gardening, playing games with friends and family, running, working out at Orange Theory Fitness, and soaking up every season. Stephanie and her husband began their marathon journey in 2018 and have completed the Chicago, Berlin, and Lisbon Marathons, along with many half marathons. She also loves decorating for Christmas and Halloween, bringing joy to her neighborhood with festive displays that are impossible to miss. Classy, trendy, and fun, Stephanie brings her whole heart into everything she does — in the salon, at home, and in the community.
