As the founder of Salon Avanti, Kim established a salon culture rooted in mentorship, professionalism, continued education, and genuine care for both clients and stylists. Her influence extends far beyond the chair, helping shape not only the salon itself but also many of the beauty professionals who have built successful careers under her guidance.
Kim is especially known for her expertise in gray coverage, gray blending, dimensional color, highlights, lowlights, and low-maintenance hair solutions. As a Redken Certified Colorist, she believes beautiful hair should fit seamlessly into a client's lifestyle. Her goal is to create customized looks that enhance natural beauty while remaining realistic and manageable for each individual's daily routine.
